Working Hours/Salary50%-75% full-time equivalent; compensation according to TV-L, Land of Berlin collective agreement.

Role Overview: You will lead communication and dissemination strategies for the U-CAN project, enhancing visibility and engagement to support climate action goals. You will orchestrate a range of activities, from developing online platforms to engaging with a diverse network of stakeholders, including community members, policymakers, and international partners.

Key responsibilities include:

Platform and Tool Development:

●  Manage the U-CAN project platform for effective knowledge sharing.
●  Partner to improve tools like mapping applications that link climate initiatives across networks.

Capacity Building and Training:

●  Create and run training that empowers stakeholders and boosts their involvement in climate governance.
●  Work with city representatives from Europe and Ukraine to support pilot projects and local knowledge sharing.

Communication and Outreach:

●  Direct online communication to maintain consistent, impactful messages.
●  Formulate and implement strategies that promote U-CAN successes and new projects.

Strategic Planning and Assessment:

●  Contribute to the development of strategies to foster climate action collaboration.
●  Assess and refine communication strategies and tools based on feedback and project requirements.

This role requires a strategic thinker with strong project management skills and a passion for enhancing community engagement through innovative communication strategies.

Requirements
●  University degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
●  Proven experience in communications strategy and project management.
●  Demonstrated leadership in managing a communications team.
●  Exceptional creativity and strategic thinking.
●  Excellent organisational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
●  Proficiency in Ukrainian and English; additional European languages are advantageous.
●  Willingness to travel.
●  Competency in modern communication tools and social media.
●  Must possess a valid work permit for Germany.
