Key responsibilities
To advance with this approach, Allianz Re is seeking a pricing actuary to actively shape and reposition the Group's pricing capabilities in Mid-Corporate. In this role you will define Mid-Corporate pricing excellence, and you will collaborate on various activities to support Allianz operating entities globally in excellence achievement:
Support pricing analytics projects from inception to completion. Apply analytical methods and algorithms to build data products that streamline the process from data collection to insight generation.
Support Mid-Corporate costing/pricing tool development as part of an agile software development process. Subsequent tool implementation globally, including productive maintenance and rating parameter updates.
Support implementation of the ‘Allianz Technical Price System’: On-site support of Allianz operating entities and respective knowledge transfer through dedicated pricing projects: data acquisition and enhancement, technical analysis, scenario testing, renewal strategy, portfolio steering and monitoring.
Delivery of Commercial Lines Pricing training programs as part of the P&C Academy.

Qualification
Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a comparable discipline.
P&C Academy Commercial Pricing Analyst Bronze Accreditation.
Basic knowledge in loss modeling methodologies for Commercial Property and Commercial Liability.
Advanced knowlegde of a statistical computing language like Python, R, or SAS. Solid programming experience.
Basic knowledge in WTW Radar.
Excellent command of the English language (both written and spoken), other languages would be a plus.
Experience & Key skills
P&C pricing knowhow gained in pricing activities in a leading P&C (re)insurance company.
Ability to relate actuarial pricing problems to data-driven solutions. Experience in applying modern machine learning models, ideally in an actuarial context.
Outstanding conceptional and strategic capabilities, combined with flexibility, creativity and innovation skills.
Strong communicator but also good listener and fast in understanding. Clear in articulating conerns, issues, opportunities and expectations.
Ability to work in a team, and to train and guide team members.
