YOUR MISSION - You lead and take ownership of all data science projects and define the data future of our company - You utilize advanced analytical methods and develop algorithms/models to extract insights from diverse data sources that drive business across the whole value chain - You interact with key-stakeholders (technical and non-technical) to understand their needs and translate those needs into precise analytical solutions to inform strategy and decision making - You work in agile, interdisciplinary teams to constantly improve the quality of our processes and our platform - You clearly and concisely communicate analytical solutions and results to (non-)experts - You have an entrepreneurial mind-set: proactively identifying new opportunities where data science could bring value in terms of technical improvement and/or business impact YOUR SUPERPOWERS - You have your bachelors or masters in computer science or similar qualification - You are a data scientist with 3+ years of experience and have profound understanding and passion of and for modern technologies - You have the necessary education and/or experience as a software developer that helps you solve challenges in a goal-oriented manner and communicate them to different levels of stakeholders - You have a solid understanding of statistics and time-series analysis: Bayesian inference, ARIMA, MCMC, etc. - You are fluent in programming with Python and using common machine learning libraries (e.g. sklearn, keras/tensorflow, statsmodels, PyMC3 etc.) - You have first-hand experience in deploying, maintaining, and updating models in production, as well as tracking experiments - You have first-hand experience in serving ML models via APIs (e.g. Flask, FastAPI) - You are experienced working end-to-end (from ideation to deployment) to deliver production-ready data products - You are a mentor for your team members and help them to expand and develop their technical skills - You have excellent communication skills and proficiency in English.
