As senior product designer at Micropsi Industries, you will drive end-user interaction improvements to our groundbreaking, AI-powered robot control system, MIRAI. In doing so, you will conceptualize and help to realize new ways of working with AI-powered robots. You will work collaboratively with product management and the infrastructure team, designing exceptional UX throughout the product development process. You are a self-starter and are eager to solve challenging UX tasks both in the mobile domain and for industrial interfaces. We are looking for someone with a roll-up-your-sleeves, entrepreneurial attitude, and a creative approach to tackling complex problems. We intend to expand our UX and product design capacities, and we seek someone who can take a leading role. Responsibilities Drive the design process: identify problems to be solved; define, prototype, and validate design solutions with internal stakeholders and end-users; create production-ready designs; and support developers during the implementation. Find creative ways to solve product UX problems together with our product team and infrastructure team as well as by yourself. Inform product managers and other stakeholders about the relevant findings about end-users, collected through discovery activities (internally and externally). Support early product specification based on research data and best practices. Create wireframes and prototypes for product requirements and validate feature hypotheses. Plan, coordinate, and conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback. Identify UX improvement areas at product touchpoints based on feedback from external users (customers) and internal users. Make measurable improvements to internal design processes, strengthening the way that Micropsi Industries does UX and product design.

Portfolio demonstrating user-centered design approach, problem solving skills, and attention to detail. Experience in designing and shipping for mobile applications and services. Bachelor’s in design, computer science, engineering, or a related field. Proficiency in design tools/software (Figma, Sketch, etc). Proven analytical mindset with a problem solving attitude and strong communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and with our product and infrastructure teams to implement exceptional product experiences. Fluent English.

Experience designing B2B, industrial products, or complex applications for specialized domains. Fluent or at least working-level German.
