THE ROLE We are looking for a highly skilled Cloud Software Engineer to join our core product team and help us build GenieCloud (geniecloud.io), our no-code app development platform. The ideal candidate has deep domain expertise, strong communication skills, can work autonomously and make technical and strategic decisions. You will have complete ownership of the Cloud architecture, designing and implementing robust and scalable Cloud infrastructure solutions that support high-performance computing for cutting edge AI/ML, data analysis and visualisation, and scientific research. You will develop the platform by collaborating closely with our small team of very experienced software engineers. You will also have the opportunity to leverage our strong open source community to quickly test features, get rapid feedback and iterate fast. Remote work, regardless of location, is on a CET +/- 3 hours timezone. - IaC tooling (Terraform, Pulumi) - Experience with Golang - K8S ecosystem (container registry, container runtime, etc.) - AWS (IAM, ECS, RDS, S3, Route53) - CI/CD tooling (Github actions, ArgoCD, Flux) - Monitoring tooling (Datadog; being able to create dashboards, actionable alerts) - Secret storage administration and usage experience (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager) - Able to apply and design workflow using GitOPS - Fluent English
