Main responsibilities:Conceptual design, expansion and optimization of the existing and future VMware environment with our architects Setting up the test environments for the quality assurance of our cloud Infrastructure Testing innovative and future-oriented concepts for the continuous improvement of the department Operational support of the virtual infrastructure team, which is based on VMware Operational support of the storage team Installation and operation processes automation with PowerShell andVMware Orchestrator workflows Sort complex issues pertaining to hardware and network failure – Monitor both Hardware and Software systems for errors and update them regularly to maintain proper functioning and flow of information Deploy performance enhancing/monitoring tools Document the new Windows server settings that have been applied to the network Performing routine audits of systems and software. Adding, removing, or updating user account information, resetting passwords. Answering technical queries and assisting users. Mentor and create documentation/knowledge base articles for routine tasks and troubleshoot on the infrastructure under support.

Requirements 9+ years of experience in VMware & Citrix Product Excellent knowledge of VMware (vSphere, NSX) Expert in VMware platform support Good knowledge of CL troubleshooting for ESX Knowledge on VLAN configuration and VMDK configuration Experience in operating large VMware environments Applying operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes. Good technical knowledge of common operating systems (Linux, Microsoft Windows), backup/recovery technologies, and good to have practical professional experience in Data Centre operations Joy of working with complex virtualization landscapes and experimenting with new technologies Fluent English skills, both written and spoken

German is of significant advantage
